We really enjoyed our 11 days on Sumatra with our wonderful guide Lenny and excellent driver Aji. They showed us everything we had discussed and more.
Our 11 days on Java with our driver and guide Budi himself (a firm driver, but an excellent guide) were also wonderful. A special highlight was the delicious lunch at his home in Yogyakarta, where we were warmly welcomed and treated to a lovely meal.
Budi took us to a number of very special places that you have to know about, otherwise you would never get there. We enjoyed that very much.We found the difference between Sumatra and Java enormous. For us it would have been better to do Java first and then Sumatra. Sumatra has lots of nature and is much quieter, with highlights like Samosir and of course the orangutans; Java is much busier and very touristy, with some special attractions such as Borobudur, Prambanan and the Bromo volcano.

What a wonderful holiday we had! Thanks to your good organisation and the great dedication of the guides and drivers Helty and Wau, Sofyan and Budi Arta, and the local guides, we got to experience all the beauty of Indonesia. We saw the most beautiful places, had lovely contact with the local people, were treated to delicious fruit and other snacks, and did the most fun activities. Budi Tours, thank you so much for this wonderful experience!
Great guides and drivers
We received very good advice about our tour of South Sulawesi (a tailor-made trip). We enjoyed it to the full. We had a fantastic driver! We especially loved the cycling and having lunch at people’s homes. The whole trip was a great experience and left a deep impression on us.
